The Jasmine Cocktail Recipe: A Classic Gin Drink
Gin + Campari + Lemon = the flavour of a fresh grapefruit zest!

Campari with gin is a well-known combination in classic cocktails, such as the Negroni. However, it is not so common that we see it in conjunction with citrus. The Jasmine is a hidden gem of a drink that is the perfect balance of citrus, gin and bitterness. Positively thirst-quenching!

Ingredients
45ml Gin
20ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
10ml Campari
10ml Triple Sec or Cointreau

Optional
5ml Sugar syrup (1 part sugar : 1 part water)

Garnish Lemon peel

Ice Cubes (for shaking)

Glass Cocktail glass

Instructions

1. Add all your ingredients to the shaker.

2. Fill shaker to the brim with cubes of ice.

3. Shake hard for 30 seconds.

4. Fine strain into an ice-cold cocktail glass.

Bartender’s Top Tips

Remember to chill your glass in the freezer for 5 minutes before you fill it, to keep your drink colder and fresher for longer.

Fine straining through a mesh strainer (like a tea strainer), removes all the small chips of ice to create a silky smooth texture.
