A very subtle gin
This gin was subtle and smooth! Went well with soda and we would consider it again.
Cambridge Distillery is renowned for pioneering the ultra-sciency vacuum distillation method in gin production. Each botanical is sourced as fresh as possible and individually distilled to extract the best flavour from it. The Curator’s Gin features botanicals sourced from Cambridge University Botanic Gardens, including apples. This apple tree was grafted from the very same tree that Sir Isaac Newton sat under as he discovered gravity!

Mightily herbaceous tones merge with juniper to create a powerful but pleasant rosemary character. There’s some pleasing lavender floral complexity and a touch of lemon-driven coriander seed too.
Lavender becomes more prominent on the palate but perfectly balanced with the herbaceous character. Grassy-floral, like dried chamomile flowers with a touch of lemon pith to finish.
