A contemporary Australian take on the London dry style, inspired by botanicals found locally to Kangaroo Island Spirits’ South Australian home. The gin was produced by Sarah & Jon Lark, and has a savoury juniper- led profile, balanced through the inclusion of coastal daisy bush and South Australian oranges.
Kangaroo Island Spirits was the first dedicated gin distillery in Australia, and began with just a small still in the Larks’ shed.
These days KIS, as it is affectionately known, is one of the most decorated and highly regarded distilling operations in the country. O’Gin is based around the traditional trio of juniper, coriander and angelica, but never loses that distinctively Aussie feel.
