Opihr is produced at the G&J Distillery - the UK’s second largest gin distillery. The gin takes its name from a port mentioned in the Bible, where King Soloman received cargo of “gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.” A pretty far-out shopping list!
With this gin, the name invokes the wealth of spices used in its production. Beautifully designed, with ornate elephants adorning the label, this gin perfectly encapsulates the riches of the old spice routes.

Nose
Transports you to the spice markets of the East. Opens with a punchy, peppered juniper, joined by subtle red chilli, a little citrus and fresh coriander leaf.
Taste
Softer and more floral than the nose, with slight numbing pepper and a little lime marmalade. Juicy juniper builds, creating a full and fruity profile.
