This gin starts with Prohibition’s dry gin – featuring botanicals including wormwood, blood orange and ginger. The spirit is then finished in barrels that previously held Shiraz – arguably Australia’s national drink (other than gin that is...). Prohibition Liquor produced this gin in homage to the barrels of spirit and wine that were dumped down the drain when America’s 18th Amendment came into effect.

Nose
Cinnamon spiced, slightly savoury red wine aromas first greet the drinker, with a strong hit of bittersweet wormwood, juniper and citrus.
Taste
Botanicals take hold, with the wine cask providing a silky mouthfeel. Juniper, red grapes, clove studded orange and pink peppercorn dominate.
